The Mafia Prison Chronicles
A Twisted Life of Honor and Greed Part 4
The hustle and bustle of convicts hurried around them, as the crowd tried to get where they were going before the 10 minute move ended. In prison there were controlled movements. Every hour on the half hour a movement was called. During this time convicts were allowed to leave their units and move to a different part of the compound.
“Begin 10 minute move.” A disembodied voice would announce through the prison PA system. The C/O’s would crack the doors to the units and other facilities to let the prisoners move around the institution freely. But when the move was over, all the doors would be locked again until the next hour when another move was called.
It was dinner time, so Ernie Boy and Fat Tony had a little leeway, but the last unit had been called and as soon as they were served dinner the movement would be called. Ernie Boy noticed all types of things going on in the hallway, seemingly right under the C/O’s noses. The C/O’s stood a various intervals acting like they were paying attention to what was going on during the movement and occasionally putting a prisoner down, but in reality they didn’t give a fuck. They were more interested in talking and bullshitting with each other.
