I'm not big into Mafia docs, although I've seen a few, but this film had me captivated from beginning to end and really broke down the mythology and how and why the Mafia became the Mafia. I've seen The Godfather and Goodfellas and consider both classics and this film is right up there with them. If you want to know about Lucky Luciano, Arnold Rothstien, Jack Legs Diamond, and the other legendary gangsters from the Prohibition Era then definitely watch this documentary. I first heard about this director Seth Ferranti from watching the White Boy doc which is on Netflix and now he has followed up with this compelling film that had me interested from beginning to end and wanting to know more. I look forward to checking to more of his work in the future. Highly recommended.
